DBYA — Darwin Baptist Young Adults — is the young adults ministry of Darwin Baptist Church (DBC), located in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. We are a vibrant, welcoming community of young people aged roughly 18 to 35 who share a common faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to grow together in life, community, and purpose.
Our ministry runs throughout the year, offering a rich calendar of events designed to help young adults connect with each other and with God. From our monthly Gatherings held at the DBC Café, to our annual DBYA Camp in the Litchfield bush, to special events like the MOVE Missions Conference and a Christmas Party — there is always something happening in our community.
We believe that faith is best lived in community. That's why we run Connect Groups — small, home-based groups where young adults can meet weekly, study the Bible, pray together, and do life in an authentic and supportive environment. We also offer opportunities to explore faith for the first time through Alpha, a welcoming course that answers big questions about life and Christianity.
Darwin Baptist Church has been serving the Darwin community for decades, and DBYA is one of its most active and growing ministries. Our leaders are passionate volunteers and staff who pour their time and energy into building a generation of faithful, courageous, and compassionate young adults in the Top End.
